A mains pressure unvented hot water system gives you the best of all worlds. Like a combi boiler, it gives you mains pressure and high flow rates at all your hot water outlets. Unlike a combi boiler, it has an electrical back-up if your boiler isn't working, and it can be integrated with solar panels to give you free hot water from solar energy.
An unvented cylinder should be serviced every year. Your household insurance may not cover you against a leak if it has not been serviced. Annual service check £75.
